December Hell 2014

Guess its time that I start to vent and vent extremely well...Normally, I don't do this but in this case it needs to be done. So please bear with me...

I'm not normally and open person with my emotions but right now I don't really give a flying rat's ass. It's time that I let my mouth completely overload my ass. For the last few months I have been a unique relationship. I have also been living with people that are toxic to say the very fucking least. Now there is so much more that has gone wrong than I can say. AND I AM THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEMS!!! I went into this unique relationship with my eyes open. I have done everything that I could do to make it work. Everyone wants out of the where we are currently stuck at. I just don't know what to do anymore? I want to be with them BUT how do I tell them how I feel without hurting them or that? I know I need to speak my mind and make myself feel better but how can I when I know what it's going to do in the end? I want all of us involved to be happy. Guess it's time that I fly by the seat of my pants...Just wish I knew what to do anymore???? Cause I can't vent to no one but them. But how can I when am so confused about how to handle it. I know I need to handle it with kid gloves. One of them is only 18. She is beautiful inside and out. Me, I'm not beautiful inside and out anymore. Never was on the outside. According to them I am a liar, etc...

All I do know is that I thought I could handle it but I guess I'm not the right person for something like this unique relationship.

Midnight Angels--Rayven's Story part 4

“Why is that of any importance?” Rayven said getting a little defensive where her captain and friend was concerned.

“You did say Lucien, correct?” the lady spoke again in her own voice.

“Yes. Why?” Rayven was starting to become elusive of everyone around her.

“Lucien is royalty just like his brother is,” her ancestor spoke in that sweet voice of hers.

That struck them all dumbfounded and before anyone could stop her she vanished into a starry brightness that only belonged to Rayven. When she reappeared it was on the dream plane. She was confused about everything going on in her heart and her head. But it wasn’t until she felt a sharp stabbing pain hitting her in the middle of her shoulder blades. She was being driven to her knees from the sheer force of the onslaught. Rayven knew that if she called out then the others would come to her rescue and so would Lucien and that was the one thing she wouldn’t risk were the lives of her comrades or that of the man she loved. Back at Sanctuary, Lucien was still waiting Rayven’s return, when he fell to his knees.

He tried to sense her whereabouts but he was being blocked by something powerful so he picked himself up opened up the wooden door and shifted. He focused on his brother and located Wulf sitting with his mate when he felt another power surge drive him to the floor. Somehow he knew that his angel was endanger and that she was the one keeping him out of her mind. So he called on the strange mage. It was that mage that had answered his mental call. Once the mage learned what he needed he went in search of this particular angel.

He found her on the dream plane continually being driving to her knees and hands. The mage had thrown up a shield of some sort to protecting them both from the onslaught. He took his other hand and glided it over her person to check for any internal injuries to the body and mind. He did find some strange anomaly to her shoulder blades and before he could ask Rayven, she shot her wings forth and changed into her armor.

With her armor on Rayven was able to withstand some of the pain but not all of it. She was still being driven to her knees and before anything else could happen, Lucien and some of the others showed up to defeat the creature that was destroying her. In order to keep the creature from escaping Anya had commanded that all dream gates be closed and locked until the creature was dealt with. Then she donned her armour and went to stand in front of the mage, her comrade and Lucien.

The creature didn’t like it because she was standing in its way. And it knew that getting past that particular angel would be suicidal so it tried to do to Anya what it was doing to Rayven. Only bad thing was Anya is able to deflect the creature’s abilities with those of her own. Not to mention Wulf was beside her for the fight. He had shifted to his animal form just to be on the safe side. It was also with the help of Saya, Malia, Dash and Zane that they were able to take the creature out. The creature screamed the most ungodly scream that one person could never imagine. That gave Wulf the advantage that he needed to take the creature out.

Wulf was successful in bringing the creature down but in the process he was injured himself. Anya and the other Angels and packmates were in utter disbelieve that Wulf could be taken down like that. It took everything in Anya to taking out the creature and she flew into battle and within a few moments she had the creature destroyed. She knelt down beside her mate and lover to feel for his heartbeat. She found it but his heartbeat was very faint and she knew that his time was coming to an end if they couldn’t get him healed fast. So with the help of Lucien and the other packmates, Wulf is returned to the palisades where Anya could care for him herself. Sometime after Wulf was fully healed, Anya and he decided to return to his homeland where they could live their life together in peace and happiness. But always on call when the time would arise that they are needed again.

Ravyen took Anya’s place as Captain of the Midnight Angels. Lucien was granted to spend his life with his mate and to have a family with her.

Midnight Angels--Rayven's Story part 3

Then he knew that she wanted him to follow her. As the week started to come to a close, he started to get real impatient about what leaving his heavenly angel. So a wonderful idea came to him in that moment now he just had to execute it before his return to the astral realm. Then reality invaded and it was something that he didn’t want to acknowledge. But he knew that it was inevitable about leaving her and that was something he wasn’t prepared to do, just yet.

So they returned to Sanctuary, when he went in search of Anya. He found her with her mate. He was about to turn and leave when his brother called him over. After about a few minutes of making small talk, Lucien broached the subject, “Milady, I would like to mate with Rayven?”

Wulf thought he knew his brother well enough to know that he was going to be a confirmed bachelor. But it was Wulf’s mate that spoke first, “Why do you want to mate with Rayven?”

For the first time in his life he couldn’t find the words to express how he feels about his heavenly lady. Anya was reading his facial expression and his thoughts.  She knew that this packmate of her mate is the one for her warrior. So it is with her blessing that Lucien may become Rayven’s mate. No one was more surprised than her own mate. She knew that Rayven was the last of her lineage and without her then the Dream Gate Guardians would be without one of their elite families. Wulf knew what his mate was thinking; he also knew that she worried about Rayven more than she did on any of the other angels.

The only thing he couldn’t figure out was why she worried more about one angel than the rest? He has asked her but all she kept telling him was that it wasn’t her story to tell.

So the preparations for the ceremony were started, the men headed in one direction while Anya headed in the direction that was unusual. Wulf knew something was the matter with his mate but he couldn’t figure it out. But he did keep a check on her just in case she would need his assistance.

Anya had arrived in the chamber of Fallen Angels. She dropped to her knees and mentally asked the spirits if she could pass into their realm. After she gained their permission, she stood and walked through the veil where she was greeted by fallen comrades and those that came before her. Before she could voice the good news the spirits had already begun their celebration of the rebirth of Rayven’s lineage.

It took her no time to finding her friend’s parents. And what she felt from them was dark and foreboding. It was like a shroud had been cast upon them and their lineage. So she took a seat, waved her hand over the blackened wood, and began to make inquiries into their somber mood. It was Rayven’s father that began to tell the sordid tale, “It was some centuries ago that my great-great-great-great grandfather had begun an affair with a silver blonde haired young woman. No one knew where this strange woman came from but one thing was for sure she had captured the attentions of the only Dream Gate Guardian that mattered.”

Anya normally didn’t interrupt the spirits when they started to tell one of their tales but this time she had to, “Why was he so important to this woman?”

“No one ever knew why,” was the only that Rayven’s father said. So Anya allowed him to continue with his story. “The gentleman never told anyone about her. The reason is the others thought that she was not of our world; they thought that she was of the Fey world. No one knew for sure if she was or wasn’t. But he made her his mate. From that union came a child that exhibited some extraordinary abilities that would be passed down through generations. But there is also a curse to the gifts of my lineage.”

“Curse? What curse?” Anya was starting to become weary of her surroundings.

“The curse is that if one of our lineage mates with another that is not of our ancestor’s kind then…”

Anya’s voice came out a hurried when she asked, “What happens if Rayven mates with another person?”

Before her friend’s father could answer a female voice interrupted, “She will perish and so will her mate.”

She recognized the voice and when she turned around she knew who and what Rayven’s ancestor was. She thanked her friend’s parents’ and those of the Shadow Realm and left. She had to get ALL of the Midnight Angels together for what she was about to undertake. She found a few of the angels relaxing in the common room. She had them round up the others while she called in the rest of the angels including the Dream Gate Guardians, the Dream Guardians and so forth.

Once everyone was there, Anya took her place at the head of the round table. Then she informed them about what she had just learned about Rayven’s ancestry. The Dream Gate Guardians were not thrilled by the news and neither were the Midnight Angels, or the rest. But she did inform them that there was a way of saving her from the curse but each one would have to be able to bring back the ingredients that she would need. That was when Riona spoke up, “If it is to protect our sister then we ALL will do what it takes,” she paused as she looked around the table, “NO matter the cost, Captain.”

“All right then. Here are your assignments---be careful getting some of these items can be dangerous and treacherous.” Then she handed out the assignments to each individual that was present.

The only group that she had stay behind were the Dream Gate Guardians the reason is she needed to inform them that she knew who the ancestor of Rayven’s was. That came as a surprise to them considering that her great-great-great-great-great grandfather was a revered guardian and a legend in his own right. Not to mention, Rayven has held up the honor of her ancestor. They were all discussing the options when Wulf came in. He could tell that something was amiss with his mate but he wasn’t exactly sure what it is.

She dismissed the Guardians and left with her mate. She knew what was on her handsome mate’s mind. But until she had finished what she needed to, she couldn’t even tell him and that was beginning to weigh on her heart. She also knew that every decision that she has ever had to make always weighed on her shoulders in some shape or form. They walked to their special place that was outside of Sanctuary, when Wulf stopped and pulled Anya into his embrace. He tilted her head upward so that her gaze could meet his and he knew the truth to what was going on.

He knew that he couldn’t allow his brother and packmate to pay for loving an angel like he had paid for loving his beautiful angel. Wulf knew that if Lucien was given the choice his brother would choose to love Rayven and die for that love.

Wulf kissed his mate and went to seek out his entire pack. Anya went to her alchemy lab and began to gather the ingredients that she already had. When her children walked in it was Christian that piped up and asked, “Mother, what the hell is going on? Why is Sanctuary in a flurry?”

“We are preparing for a mating celebration between your father’s packmate and our own Rayven,” Anya spoke without looking at the triplets.

Sonya was happy about the mating celebration but she slide a glance over toward her brother Dmitri and noticed that his face was stoic. But she could feel the vibrations coming from him. She had to slip out of her mother’s alchemy chamber before she fell to the stone floor. Before she could even open the heavy wooden door, Anya spoke, “I need each of you to gather some of the ingredients that I don’t have here.”
That made Dmitri speak first, “What ingredients are you missing, mother?”

“The light of the ray, purest snow, the heart of a Midnight Angel.’ That was something that even brought Anya up short when she spoke that last ingredient out loud. The triplet’s faces were in a state of shock but they knew that they would be only ones that could gather the ingredients that their mother needed.

It was the three of them that spoke in unison, “Why?”

“Rayven’s lineage has been cursed and if she mates with another then she will die. This is the only way to saving her and to keep her lineage alive.”

“WHAT?” was the only thing that came out of Dmitri’s mouth.

“Rayven is the last of her line. If anything happens to her the Dream Gate Guardians will be not be able to cover the dream gate that is protected by her.”

Before their mother could even assign the three remaining tasks to the triplets, Dmitri took the one that was impossible to complete, while Christian and Sonya divided up the last two.  Anya had her youngest son stay behind while his siblings went so they could prepare for their departure to the other realms. She came around the stone table and moved over to his side. Dmitri tried to avoid his mother’s touch only she wasn’t going to allow him to. She looked him straight in the eyes and used her unique ability to see what was hiding in his soul. Anya kissed him on the cheek and allowed him to leave her alchemy chamber.

Dmitri hated it when his mother would use her ability on him, hell they all did. But he has always suspected that she knew about his feelings for the mysterious Rayven. But he knew that he had to help break the curse in order to keep an angel alive. He knew exactly where he had to go to find the heart of a Midnight Angel. He returned to his chambers, gathered the items that he would need and left under the cover darkness. The reason is he would have to pass through Rayven’s dream gate to get to his destination.

He removed the symbol of his father’s and donned the item that Rayven had given to him when he came to her aid during a battle. And the only way to get to his destination was by riding the wild wind. Wulf wasn’t sure how to tell his brother and packmate that if he was to mate with Rayven then he would lose her. Lucien knew that something was the matter with his brother and packmate so he decided that they both needed some time together. Once they were away from the other packmates, Lucien stopped his brother and asked Wulf point blank, “What the hell is going on with you?”

“What do you mean?” Wulf asked in a tone that he hasn’t used since he was a pup.

“I know that tone all too well, brother. You have a choice you can either answer me or I’ll have to go fishing. We both know that if I have to go fishing for the answer then it’ll get ugly.”

So Wulf began to shift into his animal form and started to run. He hoped that maybe his brother wouldn’t follow until he could find a way of tell him. But that little wish didn’t work; Lucien shifted and followed his brother. Both brothers ran for hours until they came to an area that they remembered from their childhood. Wulf had dove into the stream to cool off from his run and to help clear his jumbled thoughts. Before he could shift, Lucien had shifted and had prepared himself for battle.

Wulf wasn’t ready to battle his brother but they both knew that it was the only way to getting him to talk about some serious issues. So he shifted and prepared himself for the skirmish to come. Lucien was the first one to strike at his brother forcing Wulf to defend himself. There was no telling how the long the skirmish lasted but the conversation that Wulf was trying to avoid came out; which made his young brother stop. Lucien didn’t know how to react to the news that if he mated with his heavenly angel he would lose her.

“Are you sure?” Lucien asked in a voice that sounded so alien to him.

“Yes. Anya was the one that informed everyone about it. Why?” Wulf remarked in a manner that could only be described as suspicious of his brother’s nature.

“I need to see her.” With that said Lucien shifted on the run and was able to make it back to Sanctuary in a matter of heartbeats. When he located Rayven she was being prepared for the mating celebration.

Dasha, Malia, Stacia and Saya were adding the last touches to their comrade when Stacia stopped the creature.

The four ladies left their friend but it was Saya that whispered, “If you need us we won’t be far away.”

Rayven knew what she meant by that. As the hard wooden door closed behind Saya the creature shifted. Rayven was surprised to see Lucien standing there before her in all of his beautiful glory. Rayven ran to greet him when she saw the look on his face. But it was his voice that caught her attention, “Why didn’t you tell me that you could not mate with me?”

“What? I want to be with you for eternity. So what the hell are you talking about?” Rayven wasn’t what to do or what to say to his accusation. But she knew that in her heart he was the one for her and no one else.

“I was told that you were cursed—and—that if you mated with me you would perish.” Lucien tried to keep the heartache out of his voice but this time he couldn’t and it became apparent to Rayven that he truly did want her to be his mate.

She touched his face in a reassuring manner before she kissed him. And with that kiss came a wealth of passion behind it. She looked in his eyes and saw the fear of losing her. Then she vanished from his sight and when she arrived it was in the Shadow Realm. All of the fallen angels and friends were there congratulating her choice for a mate. But when she came to her parents, they were stoic and fearful of their only child’s life. She asked her parents point blank of what her potential mate had meant by his comment.

They told her that if she was to mate with him then she would join them in the Shadow Realm. She could not believe what her parents had told her until she felt an icy chill suddenly run over her. Rayven turned around and found her ancestor standing there before her. She hadn’t realized that she even moved until she was standing before her ancestor staring the lady in the face. Then she noticed the eyes. Those eyes were the same as hers and---. Before the lady in question could even say a word Rayven ran as far as she could when she bounced off the veil. Some of the fallen angels had gathered around her to make sure that she was going to be all right when her ancestors came to her a long with her parents.

It was her great-great-great-great-great grandfather that spoke first, “Come on, Rayven. Wake up and listen to the truth of your heritage.”

But it was the lady in question that brushed Rayven’s face and it was her sweet voice that brought the angel back to reality. It took her a few moments to come around. But when she did, she tried to scurry away but she couldn’t. She had to remain there even if it cost her her only shot of being with the man she loved. She had to hear this out, “Alright I need to know what the hell is going on, now?”

“Please daughter, settle down and everything will be explained.” Her father stated as he looked her in the eyes.

“My first question is the eyes. Why have I seen those eyes before on the person that I am to be mated to?”

It was the lady in question that spoke, “Because those eyes are the same as mine.” But it was her mate that wrapped his arm around her slender shoulders. He pulled her close to his body as she began her tale, “I am of another world. I am not fey as many believed me to be. But nor am I of this realm or any other realm. You bear my name. But the one you seek to mate with bears my bloodline as does his brother. I came here to this realm looking for protection for myself and the children that I protected. But I knew that I wouldn’t be able to protect them if I couldn’t find a way. Then I saw your ancestor and I knew that he would be able to protect the children should I fall.

It was with his help that I was able to hide the children from those that would see them dead. I was attacked one day on the dream plane by someone who was from my past. I called out and this man came to my aid. He vowed to protect me at all costs. And that is what he has been doing.” The lady in question turned her face up to her mate and Rayven knew that her ancestor was telling the truth.

“But I don’t understand why I can’t mate with Lucien?” she asked still not fully understanding the reasoning behind her family’s worry.

“Are you sure that it is Lucien?” the lady in question asked with a strange tone to her voice.

“Yes. His brother Wulf is mated to my captain. Why?” Rayven’s voice took on a slight panic tone to it.

But it was her great-great-great-great-great grandfather that spoke, “Are you sure?”

“Yes. Wulf and Anya have three children from their union. Why?” she started to back away from her ancestors and her parents.

“According to legend, the children born of my direct bloodline cannot mate with any other except their own kind. Lest they perish,” the lady in question turned her head and looked up into her mate’s wonderful face and spoke to him the only way she could,

“How can that be, my love?”

“It’s the curse of my bloodline.” she responded to her mate in a distant voice.

He knew better than to ask her the questions that he needed to right now.  So he just pulled her closer to him and tried to comfort her as best as he could for now.  But it was Rayven that wouldn’t allow the subject to rest, “I do not understand any of this?  Wulf and Anya are happy. Their children have grown into beautiful wonderful people. How can it be any different for me and Lucien?”

The lady in question spoke a distant voice, “How long was Wulf gone?”

Midnight Angels--Rayven part 2

“I don’t know, Captain. There are times that I feel like I don’t belong and that I don’t fit in with the other Angels anymore,” Rayven stated in a way that indicated to Anya of her friend’s isolationism and loneliness, “Do the others know?”

“No my friend. If they do then they’re not saying anything to me. We all care about you and about each other. That’s what makes us Midnight Angels.” Anya remarked with a softness to her eyes, face, body and voice. She embraced her friend in a hug.

Somehow that seemed to help Rayven’s mood. They were about to join the others when she stopped Anya to inform her of her unusual situation. So they informed the other angels and to warn them to be on their guard. It was late when they all dispersed. Anya, Malia, Dasha and Rayven walked together heading for the gate that led to their living quarters. As the women dispersed to their separate quarters, Rayven has asked Anya to stay to talk.

“Captain, while my body was in the state of flux. I sensed that the stranger was in danger. Somehow I was able to don my full armor and rescue him and his clan members.”

“Rayven, that’s normal among our kind. It usually happens when our kind as gone through the flux,” she remarked kindly, “It happens to each of us sooner or later. I was like you before I went through the flux. I was isolated and lonely. I also kept my distance from the others until I experienced it. Damn it was exhausting both physically and psychically. Unfortunately, when I went through mine the male that stayed by my side through it was…”Anya couldn’t finish with the rest of her words.

Rayven had heard stories of the Captain and of the stranger that she loved. No one knew anything about that time in her life; some had asked only to come face to face with the wall of silence. That was the reason why she wanted to become a Midnight Angel, not to mention, she wanted to carry on the tradition of her family. She had heard the rumors that Anya’s stranger had left her alone and pregnant. She decided that she needed to ask, “Captain, may I ask you a question?”
“Sure Rayven. What do you need or want to know?” Anya asked a bit suspicious.

“Whatever happened to your mate?” she asked a bit hesitant.

“I don’t know.”Was the only thing that Anya said? She knew what had happened to the man she loved.

But she wasn’t ready to tell her story to anyone, just yet. Rayven noticed Anya’s left hand playing around with her pendant. The only time that her captain ever did that was when she was lost in thoughts of the past. So she left her captain and headed toward her private quarters. When she felt something not quite right. As she made her way to her bedroom, the feeling began to intensify. That was when the candles blazed bright; the scent of lavender assailed her senses. She turned toward her bed where she found Lucien laying there looking delectable. Before she could take a step forward he was all ready walking toward her. He began to remove her leathers slowly enjoying the reaction that he was soliciting from Rayven. Once he had her topless, he turned her around, moved her hair to one side and began to caress her neck in a manner that she never thought existed.

Lucien so enjoyed what he was doing to his angel. He didn’t imagine that he would find her again. Now, he was going to make her his like all the males in his clan. Lucien became clan chieftain after his brother went missing. He was brought back to reality by Rayven’s soft moans. Suddenly he began to feel disoriented before he vanished. She felt the sudden coldness in the room and when she turned she found him gone; which left her body aching as well as her heart and soul. She finished stripping on her way toward her bathroom to take her shower.

After she slipped into the shower she released her wings when she felt something in the bathroom with her. Rayven turned the bathroom into a steam room when she silently slipped up behind whom or whatever it was that was in there with her. She heard a howl of a horror-stricken nature and by the time she recognized the howl she was already on the bathroom floor lying motionless. It didn’t take long for the guards to return with their quarry. Rayven finally came to only to find herself in an unknown place. She couldn’t see where she was or if there was anyone else there with her. She tried to move her wings only to find out that she couldn’t do so.

It took her a few minutes to locate her voice but when she did she made damned sure that her voice boomed, “I demand to know why I am here?”

“We have a feisty one here,” one of the soldiers stated in a manner that she was unaccustomed to.

Before she could think of doing anything to stop them, the soldiers already a hold of her. The two males took their time while they enjoyed and amused themselves with Rayven. No matter what she said or did the two males would pinch her on her breasts, thighs, hips, ass and… If they weren’t pinching then they were slapping her until she’d bruise or they would have intercourse with her on some physical level. Now back in the dimension of the Midnight Angels, Anya knew that something was wrong, so she called the other angels to the hall. She armored up and went to check on her friend. She wasn’t surprised to find Rayven missing. She spoke a small spell that would give her some information as to where her friend was.

What she found was shocking, Anya had only heard horror stories of how her people and comrades were treated but to see it for herself that was another story. The small experience was terrifying. She returned to the Great Hall to inform the others of what she experienced. The men were starting to see red and started to get protective of their counter-parts. The ladies were not going to be left behind while the men went to rescue Rayven. It took Anya’s cool head and calm voice to getting the angels to calm down.

After the other angels were calm, they all donned their battle armor and headed toward the gate that would take them to their comrade. It didn’t take the Midnight Angels long in locating the leader and the ones that kidnapped Rayven. Dasha and Malia freed her wings when they heard weapons clashing together. They knew that they had to get their comrade freed and out of there but they couldn’t leave their captain alone.

“Get her and go, now!” Anya yelled at the two women.

Malia and Dasha agreed that after freeing Rayven one would get her to safety while the other helped Anya. Only their plan didn’t go off without a hitch. The two angels were being engaged by a couple members of the royal guards. After the three angels defeated the guards they went to finish freeing their sister in arms, when they heard some low moans coming from the next cell. Anya had the other two finish getting Rayven down and out, while she went to investigate the moaning.

What she saw was horrific that it made her blood boil. She sliced through the cell bars with another weapon. Then she called for the rest of the Midnight Angels so she could deal with the leader. Once the others arrived, she ordered them to remove the innocents and take them home. She then vanished into that bright light. When she re-appeared it was in front of the leader and his personal guards. “You lose your life for the crimes that you committed against my angels. But most of all, the crimes that you committed against your own people,” Anya stated in the coldest of tones that made the leader stop dead in his tracks.

His guards were about to step in to protect him when she raised a hand and watched them fall. Anya then raised her weapon and she executed the leader, but she was also aware of his cunning and how he had cheated death. She moved close enough to check for a heartbeat but not able to be touched by that particular male. But it was the soft gasp that got her attention. She went to investigate the sound when she felt a pair of strong hands on her shoulders. She threw the bastard over her head; she was poised to plunging her weapon into the stranger’s chest when she noticed who he was.

She dropped her weapon then she dropped to her knees and looked into his beautiful dark eyes. He reached up and brought her head down for a passionate kiss. Before either of them knew what was about to happen, Anya felt a white searing pain enter her body which made her unable to stand. So her lover got to his feet, grabbed her fallen weapon then he swung her up into his arms and headed for the gate that would lead him to her home.  When they arrived at the gate’s entrance, Trisitan was waiting for her only this time he wasn’t excepting her lover to show up after all this time.

Instead Tristian was civil until his captain was put to bed. Before the Midnight Angel knew what was about to occur, her lover handed her over to Johan so he could handle some issues before they could start. Then he turned his attention to Tristian, “I know you don’t care for me but I’m not here for you. So you can either drop the attitude or you can find me on the honor of the battlefield. Make your choice wisely angel, because if you don’t you won’t survive.”

Then he turned and walked away from Tristian.  When he arrived at his lover’s quarters he was surprised to see Johan and Tianna waiting for him. They had already done what repair they could for Anya. But it was Johan that escorted him to his brothers. When they arrived he saw the damage that Lucien had endured. It was more than Wulf could bear; first his lover then his brother. He was about to slip into his true identity when Lucien spoke, “Brother, don’t…I’m glad you are still alive and here. How is Rayven and our other clansmen?”

“What the hell happened?” he spoke gently which was underlined with a powerful roar.

Johan spoke up to answer Lucien’s questions, “Rayven is sleeping comfortable. Her wings will heal and so will her body. Dasha, Malia are working on repairing her spirit. The twins and their sister are working on your clansmen as we speak. Now, you need to sleep and let their healing abilities work on you.”

“Is the son of a bitch dead?” was Lucien’s last question before he could sleep.

“Yes, Anya took care of him before she was injured.” With that knowledge he saw his only brother close his eyes and peace flooded his handsome face.

The two comrades turned and walked out of the chamber only to be met by Tristian. Tristian still had it out for Anya’s lover’s blood for the way he left her in her condition some years ago.

Wulf knew what Tristian was wanting but he would be damned if the boy was going to force his hand; which meant that Johan was going to have to run interference between a Midnight Angel and a warrior/shifter. He had seen Wulf head back to Anya’s quarters while he stood there with his lover’s brother. Johan spoke without taking his eyes off of the warrior’s back, “Tristian, you need to get it together right now. With his return, I know that pisses you off to no limits. But he’s needed now more than ever, and not just for our captain and their children, but for all of us.” With that said he escorted his comrade back to his position at the gate and ordered him to do his job without further incidents.

Tristian hated orders that came from anyone else but his captain, so he swallowed his rising anger and followed the orders that Johan had issued. Back in Rayven’s quarters, Dasha and Malia were just finishing up with the repairs to her spirit; all they could do now was wait for her to come around. Back in the infirmary, Lucien and his clansmen were sleeping when they heard a commotion outside. They each got up from their beds and went to investigate the sound when suddenly they found themselves back in their clan’s territory.  Only this time they were all in their true forms. And each member was protecting something that they highly coveted beyond all their lives.

Only this time there was something different about the experience. Lucien and the others couldn’t pinpoint where the strange phenomenon was coming from. They tried to head back from where they came from and all they could do was look at their sleeping bodies lying in the infirmary’s beds. Each one of them felt a very lethal power that kept coming at them. Before any of them could speak the stranger stopped and stared at them giving them time to adjust to their new surroundings.  Once they all got over the initial shock of their bodies they followed him to a sacred grove.  They had only heard of this person through stories that were handed down through generations.

“What are we doing here?” the youngest clansman spoke in tone that was laced with fear and curiosity.

“You are here for a reason that will take each of you on a unique journey,” the stranger spoke in cryptic manner.

“All right, where the hell do we start?”Another clansman spoke up in that bold manner.

“Each of you will start in your animal bodies---“he was interrupted by Lucien, “You are shitting me? Each of us in our animal form? I have an angel that needs me.”

“I know. If any of you want to return to your people or this angel you must do this,” the stranger remarked in his cryptic manner.

Lucien was the only one that was going to have a real problem about leaving Rayven. Because he saw what it did to his brother when he had to leave Anya? Lucien didn’t want to have Rayven not know where he was and vice versa. He wanted to make sure that she was going to be all right, he also wanted to make love to her for the first time. Hell, he wanted to be mated to her. That acknowledgement floored Lucien, hell he didn’t even know where that thought came from. Somehow he had to make it back to his body so he could tell Rayven that he wanted to be with her.

Lucien was a warrior not a mage of any kind. So he used logic to try to persuade this stranger into letting them return to their bodies and their lives.  He knew that he could decide for the rest of his clansmen instead he decided for himself and now it was time to see if he could make this stranger dance to his tune. He used every strategy that he could think of but to no avail. The stranger meant business and sent him on his way with one exception. Lucien only had one week to get his affairs in order. He was grateful for the small lee-way but that wouldn’t be enough to do what he needed to do for his beautiful Midnight Angel. After he was returned to his body, he left the infirmary and went in search of Rayven.

He found her quarters only to be stopped by what he saw. He couldn’t believe how beautiful she was even lying there with her wings stretched out. He didn’t know how he ended up at the side of her bed but he reached out to touch her when she looked up at him. Rayven had noticed that there was something different about him but she couldn’t figure it out. As she started to sit up Lucien was already helping her so she wouldn’t reinjure her wings or anything else. All he could do was hang onto her and when he looked into her emerald green eyes, he saw a life with her that included family, friends and children. Before he knew what he was doing he captured her lips and kissed her for all he was worth.

By the time the two of them came up back to reality, Lucien was feeling his time with her running out so he swept her up into his arms and vanished with her to a place that he knew of only. Once they arrived he didn’t even make the time to set her on her feet before he started to seduce her senses and body. They communicated with their eyes and bodies of what they wanted from the other. And right now they both wanted each other so badly. So he laid her down on the pile of furs before he started a roaring fire to take the chill off the private lodge.

Once the fire was really going, Lucien returned back to her side where he gathered her close to his body. He enjoyed the way her body molded itself to his. He breathed her scent deep into his lungs. He hands roamed her body memorizing every curve, every texture, and so forth. Rayven wasn’t really paying any attention to what was going on except for how this male that was making her burn hard and fast. Her instincts were telling her that she was made for him and no one else.  So she began to lick his neck to see how he tasted and to see what he tasted like. She didn’t or hadn’t realized just how much she needed him until at that moment in time. Somehow she had her legs swept out from underneath her and found herself on her back.

With Lucien right there beside her still holding her close to him. He couldn’t take much more of her gentle exploration of his neck so he lifted her face up to his when he started to kissed her like a drowning man needs a savior.  And that’s what she had become to him was a savior.

Rayven realized what was happening but she knew that it was right between them and so she let him take the lead, for right now. She also gave into the sensual side of what she was doing. Lucien was using the power of touch to making her beautiful body sing to his music. He began his exploration of her entire body and it was an exploration that he wanted to continue to do so for the rest of his years.  He started to seduce her senses with his touch and his lips. Lucien started with touching her neck lightly and gently making her endure his exploration as he was made to endure hers.  When he hands came to her breasts, he was so in awe by the size of them that when his hands rested on them they were so smooth and soft.

Not to mention, the weight of them when he cupped them were massive. As he began to massage them, Rayven just laid there enjoying the feel of his hands on her breasts. She thought that she would explode right then and there just from what he was doing to her breasts. Somehow she had managed to reach his lips while she continued to let her hands wander the length of his body. Lucien kissed her was all the passion that he had stored up and when she kissed him back he was surprised that someone as beautiful as his Midnight Angel would kiss him like that. See Rayven is no ordinary Midnight Angel; she is the guardian of the dream gate.

All she could do was feel what this male was doing to her senses and to her body. Lucien was lightly caressing the rest of her body until he reached her right thigh and there his caressing became that of possession. He began to massage her inner thigh with a possessiveness that he didn’t know he possessed. He kissed his way down her body until he reached the apex between her thighs. He used his animalistic senses to feel what she was feeling. He dipped his head between her beautiful thighs and began his feasting. As soon as his long tasted her unique flavor, Rayven was starting to spiral out of control from the intensity of emotions that were running through her.

Lucien was doing an extremely slow exploration of her body. He was also finding out what would affect her most, what amount of pressure would send her over the edge, and the different ways that he could use. They had spent hours just enjoying the foreplay until he couldn’t standing it anymore. Then he could his extremely hard cock and slowly slid it into his angle’s beautiful, flushed, fully ripe body. And when he did he just stayed there for a moment or two just savoring the body embracing him. After a few moments, he began the movements of lovemaking slowly at first until the feeling began to intensify. It wasn’t long before their worlds collided and exploded together.

Rayven screamed out her pleasure while begging him for more. And Lucien howled his pleasure in return. He couldn’t belief that he had poured all of his seed into this heavenly creature. After a few moments, he rolled off of her and pulled her close to his body so the two of them could sleep for a few hours. He reached for his angel and when he didn’t find her soft body lying next to him he woke up with a start. He didn’t even bother dressing instead he went in search of her. When he finally found her he noticed how much more beautiful she was than when he first laid eyes on her.

Rayven had truly turned into a Midnight Angel though she didn’t know how the transformation happened and she didn’t care. All she knew what that she was loved and she had returned that love a hundred fold. She was so involved in bathing herself that she didn’t even notice him standing there watching her until she felt his arms enveloping her waist. Lucien’s hands were making their way down her body in order to start that fiery passion again. Only he found that her nether region was swollen and sore. Then it occurred to him that she was virgin until just a few hours ago.

Instead he just held her against his body and enjoyed how she felt against him and how perfect she fit him. He was taken by surprise when she unleashed her wings so that way she could bathe them, as well. He had only seen her wings once but not up close and personal until now.  He didn’t realize how beautiful her wings are. But he could tell that there was still some damage that was done to them. That alone inflamed his senses of how a woman should be treated. He slid his hands as far as they could reach and something strange began to happen.

He didn’t know what was happening but her injured wings were being restored. He would wait to ask the stranger when he saw him next. But in the mean time he was just going to enjoy the heavenly creature that in front of him. Before he knew what was happening, Rayven had turned around and kissed him tenderly on the cheek then she dove beneath the crystal waters.

Lucien couldn’t believe what just happened until she splashed him with some of the water.

MidNight Angels--Rayven's Story part 1

Midnight Angels—Rayven’s Story

It was a cold, rainy night when she began to make her rounds around the city. She paused and looked around and realized that the weather had matched her mood of late. She continued on her way to meet up with a couple of more Midnight Angels. Rayven had never been on time for anytime except for their normal hunts. Even then she still wasn't sure if she belonged with the Angels. But those issues she kept to herself. But it was her magnified hearing that brought her a situation to her attention.

She stopped and was about to engage in the fight when a body came hurdling towards her as she side-stepped the body only to have another body coming at her. She barely had anytime to get her wings into shield formation in order to keep her from absorbing the full impact. Those of her kind could do amazing things with their abilities and their wings. There was only one problem with that and that was exposing their wings to mortals. She had two choices to make right now, either she could escort the mortal to her home or she could destroy him.

But there was something different about this mortal? The stranger was still fighting and dropping bodies left and right. Rayven was about to take to flight only to be stopped in her tracks. She couldn't even move her wings back into place. She was feeling something unnatural blocking her every movement. Hell, she couldn't even send out her call to arms. The stranger noticed that she was in need of rescuing only to be stopped himself.

Before she was captured he had sent out a distress call to his kind. His clan was there in a matter of moments. They got the stranger freed; when he ordered them to get her free. They were unable to rescue the angel. Rayven's body had sped her molecules up when the energy field shattered. The handsome stranger was right next to her when she fell. Once he had a good hold on her, he and his clan vanished. After the clan was safe, they dispersed the only one to remain was the stranger. He cradled the angel close to his chest.

It would take hours for Rayven's body to come back to normal because of the state of flux that it was in. As the hours passed, the stranger became worried about this beautiful and perfect angel. He had heard stories all of his life about a race of warrior angels and how they protected the dimensions and the gates. He was also told of the ways to tell if these warriors were the ones. But he couldn't use those methods that his people had employed for centuries.

They were methods of torture; even those who felt like him had perished at the hands of his own people. Suddenly he was summoned to the meeting hall of his people; when a wave of uneasiness came over him causing him to pause. He didn't know how important that this strange woman would become to him, so he knew what he had to do to insure her safety.

The stranger waved his hand to camouflage his angel and then he left to find
out what was going on. Once he arrived at the meeting hall, he noticed his
warriors lined up and on their knees in front of their leader and the
Tribunal. Once he stood in front he was forced to his knees by the captain of
the guards. Then the leader spoke in a booming voice, "Lucien, you are a good
warrior. I have been told that you found an angel and that she's here in our
village. You know our tradition. I want to know where this creature is."
"Great lord, it is true that I did find an angel. But she was captured.
When my clan and I freed her she died," his clan members knew that he was lying
but no one was going to break their code of honor. That was all he was going to
say. So his clan members had him pulled a portion of their magick together and
focused on her in order to send e to their clan home until they all could
return.
That was when their leader had his guards push Lucien and his clan members
forward in order to punish them for violating their laws. As Lucien and his clan
members braced themselves for the coming punishment a bright light enveloped the
entire meeting hall. As the light began to fade, there stood Rayven in her true
form with her battle armor on.
The leader wasn't surprised to see a Midnight Angel but had never seen one
in her true form. Rayven had removed her helmet visor. The guards were about to
strike with their whips of orts when she struck them down. She released Lucien
and his clan from their bonds and spoke, "You have no need to punish these good
men for rescuing me. You have implored methods that are intolerable for
centuries. You have also used these methods on your own people. You were even
given a chance to redeem yourself and your honor. But the time has come for your
demise and those of your clan."
Rayven had lowered her visor, released her wings, lifted her sword and was
about to destroy the leader when Lucien stepped in between her and his leader.
He gently spoke to the warrior angel, "He holds true to our traditions even if the
traditions are wrong. I also know that you’re kind shows compassion to those who
deserve it, as well as, dealing out punishment to those who do not deserve it. I
hope you will see to giving this man the compassion that he deserves."
She spoke in a flat voice, "I will this one time since you showed me
compassion," she turned her attention to the clan leader, "Remember, I will
return to punish you if you don't change the ways of your people."
Rayven disappeared in a bright light. By then Lucien and his clan vanished.
When they appeared it was at their native homeland. They all dispersed and
headed toward their lodges while Lucien went in search of his angel. As he
entered his lodge, he found her standing there with her wings out testing them
to make sure that they were still in operating order. She didn't even realize
that he was there watching her take in inventory of her assets and weapons. He
waited until she was done before he made his presence known to his heavenly
guest.
"I see that you’re well and healthy," Lucien spoke in a compassionate manner.
"Thank you." Was all she said as she walked away and returned t her place
by the side of the Midnight Angels.
The other angels didn't even notice her not there until she arrived. There
was only one angel who did notice her missing and her late arrival and that was
Anya, the captain of the Midnight Angels. Anya had noticed Rayven's withdrawing
from all the activities and the interactions of the other angels. So Anya
excused herself from the others and went to speak to Rayven privately.

“Rayven, we need to speak about some issues,” Anya stated calmly and with respect.

“Yes, captain.” Rayven responded in the same manner.

“Is everything all right with you, ‘Ven?”
